Employer Brand

What makes SNHU a great place to work? The people. That’s the story we tell through the university’s employer brand. And as one of the lead creatives behind this initiative, I helped build it from the ground up.

SNHU Career Site

In 2024, I helped develop and lead the creative behind jobs.snhu.edu. The site attracted 5,000 applicants (including 40% BIPOC) in its first 2 weeks, helping cement the university as an employer of choice for diverse talent nationwide.

Video storytelling

Video plays a big part in telling the SNHU employee story. As interviewer, I worked with our in-house video team to create compelling content throughout the site. Here are some highlights:

My role in this work

  • Defined brand positioning by co-creating SNHU Employer Value Props (EVP)

  • Supported the initial wireframing and site architecture of 21 unique webpages

  • Conducted interviews with 19 real employees over 2 days

  • Helped develop “paper edits” for 12 testimonial videos

  • Reviewed and approved all site content as copy lead

  • "Spencer didn't just write about the culture—he reflected it. He worked closely with designers, stakeholders, and fellow contributors, welcoming feedback and collaborating with care and respect."
